Intake Manifold and Vacuum Caps. I decided to tackle the vacuum system on my car, next. Based on my research, on a 2005 325i there should be two vacuum ports that are capped off and not in use, #1 and #2 in the picture below. There is no space in the engine bay to visually inspect that area so I stuck my hand in there and felt around.

In my 330i with the steptronic automatic transmission and the only mod being the K&N drop in filter, my OBC consistently reads 18.2 MPG and my calculated MPG (which I do every time I fill up) usually comes out either one MPG below or above the 18.2 average depending
